Entre 1988 et 1995, Yo! MTV Raps a ouvert les portes du hip-hop au monde entier. Plus qu’une émission, c’était une vitrine, une révolution culturelle, un micro tendu à toute une génération. Créée par Ted Demme et Peter Dougherty dans l’héritage du show européen de Sophie Bramly, elle a marqué l’histoire sous la présentation légendaire de Doctor Dre, Ed Lover et Fab 5 Freddy.
